Παγκόσμια Ημέρα για την Ασφάλεια και την Υγεία στην Εργασία

Σε εξέλιξη βρίσκονται δρασηριότητες αρκετών συνδικαλιστικών οργανώσεων με κέντρο την ανάδειξη θεμάτων για την Ασφάλεια και την Υγεία στην Εργασία, λόγω της σχετικής Παγκόσμιας Ημέρας (28/4).

Το Εργατοϋπαλληλικό Κέντρο Αθήνας (ΕΚΑ),  σε ανακοίνωσή του, αναφέρει πως: “με αφορμή τον εορτασμό της Παγκόσμιας Ημέρας για την Ασφάλεια και την Υγεία στην Εργασία, αναδεικνύει σε μείζον ζήτημα και ανησυχεί για την κατάσταση των συνθηκών εργασίας των εργαζομένων στη χώρα μας.

Παγκόσμια Ημέρα για την Ασφάλεια και την Υγεία στην ΕργασίαΤο κεντρικό θέμα του παγκόσμιου φετινού εορτασμού είναι: «Νέα γενιά: ασφαλής και υγιής», με ειδική αναφορά εκτός από την Ασφάλεια και την Υγεία στην Εργασία των νέων και την ανάγκη κατάργησης της Παιδικής Εργασίας.

Στη χώρα μας δυστυχώς, η Ασφάλεια και Υγεία στην εργασία έχει ακολουθήσει τα τελευταία χρόνια την γενικότερη υποχώρηση της προστασίας των εργασιακών δικαιωμάτων και των συλλογικών διαπραγματεύσεων, γεγονός που συμβάλλει στην δημιουργία νέων πεδίων παραβατικότητας και εργοδοτικής αυθαιρεσίας, παράλληλα με την υποτίμηση των απαραίτητων μέτρων ασφαλείας…”.

Παρέμβαση σε σχετική ημερίδα του Εργατικού Κέντρου Πειραιά, έκανε η Πανελλήνια Ένωση Ναυτών Εμπορικού Ναυτικού, με επίκεντρο τα ναυτεργατικά επαγγέλματα, ενώ σχετικές παρεμβάσεις έχουν κάνει και τα σωματεία των μεταλλεργατών σε διάφορες περιοχές της χώρας.
