Καλαμάτα: Eκδήλωση για την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Μουσικής.

Εκδήλωση με θέμα “H σχέση του Μάνου Χατζιδάκι με την λαϊκή μουσική δημιουργία” διοργανώνει το βιβλιοπωλείο “βιβλιόπολις” την Παρασκευή (21 Ιουνίου) στις 9:00 μ.μ. στον πολυχώρο αναψυχής και πολιτισμού Μπουκαδούρα του Πάρκου Λιμενικού Καλαμάτας με αφορμή την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Μουσικής.

Καλεσμένοι ομιλητές :
– Ρενάτα Δαλιανούδη, λέκτορας Εθνομουσικολογίας (Πανεπιστήμιο Ιωαννίνων).
– Γιώργος Μονεμβασίτης, κριτικός και ιστορικός μουσικής.

Οι ομιλητές της εκδήλωσης θα πραγματευτούν τη σχέση του ‘Ελληνα συνθέτη με τη λαϊκή μουσική δημιουργία (ιδιαίτερα με το ρεμπέτικο). Ο Μάνος Χατζιδάκις, μέσα σε δύσκολες κοινωνικοπολιτικές συγκυρίες (τέλη της δεκαετίας του 1940), ήταν ο πρώτος που αναγνώρισε το ρεμπέτικο ως πυλώνα του νεοελληνικού πολιτισμού.

Μετά τις εισηγήσεις των ομιλητών θ’ ακολουθήσει σχετικό μουσικό πρόγραμμα.

Η Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Μουσικής καθιερώθηκε το 1982 με πρωτοβουλία του, τότε, Γάλλου υπουργού πολιτισμού Ζακ Λανγκ (Jack Lang), του Γαλλικού Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού και την αιγίδα του Δήμου του Παρισιού.

Η Γιορτή της Μουσικής, από το 1985, εξαπλώθηκε έξω από τα Γαλλικά σύνορα και η Αθήνα, 1η Πολιτιστική πρωτεύουσα της Ευρώπης, με πρωτοβουλία της Μελίνας Μερκούρη, ήταν η πρώτη πόλη στην οποία η Γιορτή πραγματοποιήθηκε εκτός Γαλλίας.

Σήμερα η Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Μουσικής είναι ένα ευρωπαϊκό γεγονός, που διεξάγεται στις 21 Ιουνίου κάθε χρόνο σε 22 χώρες της Ευρώπης
