Ψυχολογική υποστήριξη στους σεισμόπληκτους της Θεσσαλίας

Σταθμός ψυχολογικής υποστήριξης, ο οποίος αποτελείται από δυο ψυχολόγους και έναν ψυχίατρο, λειτουργεί σε αντίσκηνο του καταυλισμού των σεισμόπληκτων στην περιοχή του Δαμασίου. Σύμφωνα με δελτίο Τύπου που εκδόθηκε από το υπουργείο Υγείας, αμέσως μετά την εκδήλωση του πρώτου σεισμού στη Θεσσαλία την Τετάρτη 3/3, η υφυπουργός Υγείας Ζωή Ράπτη επικοινώνησε με τη διοίκηση του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Λάρισας και την Θεσσαλική Εταιρεία Ψυχικής Υγείας, Περίθαλψης και Αποκατάστασης (ΘΕΨΥΠΑ) και έδωσε οδηγίες για την οργάνωση ομάδων ψυχολογικής υποστήριξης του πληθυσμού.

Ο σταθμός ψυχολογικής υποστήριξης, υπό τον συντονισμό του Γενικού Διευθυντή της Θ.Ε.Ψ.Υ.Π.Α Γιάννη Παπαγεωργίου, συνεργάζεται με την Πολιτική Προστασία καθώς και με τον Δήμο Τυρνάβου και την Περιφέρεια Θεσσαλίας.

Επιπλέον, σε συνεργασία με τον Διοικητή του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Λάρισας, Γρηγόριο Βλαχάκη, ομάδα επαγγελματιών Ψυχικής Υγείας του Νοσοκομείου βρίσκεται από το Σάββατο το πρωί στο Μεσοχώρι, προκειμένου να παρέχει τις υπηρεσίες της στους πολίτες που εξακολουθούν να δοκιμάζονται από τους ισχυρούς μετασεισμούς.

Οι σταθμοί ψυχολογικής υποστήριξης θα παραμείνουν στην πληττόμενη από το σεισμό περιοχή για όσο χρονικό διάστημα χρειαστεί, αναφέρει το δελτίο Τύπου του υπουργείου Υγείας.
