Ο αντιπρόεδρος της Ε.Ε. Μαργαρίτης Σχοινάς μίλησε στην ΕΡΤ3 και την εκπομπή “ΩΡΑ ΜΗΔΕΝ” για την άμεση ανταπόκριση της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης στο προσφυγικό ζήτημα.

Σχετικά με το ποια είναι τα επόμενα βήματα, που πρέπει να κάνουμε σε ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο για την ένταξη των Ουκρανών προσφύγων στην υπόλοιπη Ευρώπη:

«Στο θέμα της υγείας, η Ουκρανία, δυστυχώς ήταν μία από τις χώρες με χαμηλό ποσοστό εμβολιασμού. Πρέπει και θα το κάνουμε, θα εμβολιάσουμε αυτούς τους κατατρεγμένους πρόσφυγες, πρέπει να τους δώσουμε άμεση πρόσβαση στα συστήματα υγείας, ειδικά όσους έχουν προβλήματα υγείας ή ευάλωτους. Πρέπει να βρούμε έναν τρόπο να επιμεριστεί το βάρος στα συστήματα υγείας, όχι μόνο στην Πολωνία, στην Ουγγαρία και τη Σλοβακία αλλά παντού, σε όλες τις χώρες της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.

Στον τομέα της παιδείας, πρέπει ακαριαία τα νέα παιδιά από την Ουκρανία, που ήρθαν με τις μητέρες τους να μπουν στα συστήματα παιδείας, να πάνε σχολείο. Έχουμε δημιουργήσει μία ομάδα δράσης ανάμεσα σε όλα τα κράτη μέλη έτσι ώστε να μπορέσει αυτή η ένταξη στο σχολικό περιβάλλον να γίνει όσο πιο γρήγορα γίνεται», δήλωσε μεταξύ άλλων ο Μαργαρίτης Σχοινάς.
