Ισπανία: 2,5 τόνοι χασίς κατασχέθηκαν από την αστυνομία

Η ισπανική αστυνομία ανακοίνωσε σήμερα πως κατέσχεσε 2,55 τόνους χασίς και 30 κιλά μαριχουάνας στη διάρκεια μεγάλης επιχείρησης στην περιοχή της Αραγονίας.

Πρόκειται για τη μεγαλύτερη κατάσχεση ναρκωτικών που έχει καταγραφεί ποτέ στην Ισπανία. Η αστυνομία προχώρησε σε τρεις συλλήψεις και κατέσχεσε αυτόματα όπλα και άλλα αντικείμενα.

Η επιτυχία των ισπανικών αρχών ήρθε στο πλαίσιο μιας επιχείρησης που βρισκόταν σε εξέλιξη από τις αρχές του μήνα στην πόλη Σος ντελ Ρέι Κατόλικο. Οι διωκτικές αρχές εστίασαν την έρευνά τους σε ένα οίκημα που θεωρήθηκε ύποπτο ότι χρησιμοποιούνταν ως «καβάντζα» από τους εμπόρους ναρκωτικών.

Σύμφωνα με τον επικεφαλής της τοπικής αστυνομίας, Κάρλος Γκαρθία, «εκεί αποθηκεύονταν τα ναρκωτικά προτού πωληθούν, στη συγκεκριμένη περίπτωση πιθανότατα στην Ευρώπη».

Η ισπανική αστυνομία κατέσχεσε επίσης ένα τυφέκιο AK-47, ένα πιστόλι Colt, κινητά τηλέφωνα, πλαστές πινακίδες κυκλοφορίας, μια συσκευή αποτροπής εντοπισμού από ραντάρ και έναν ανιχνευτή μετάλλων.
