Για τις 3 Μαρτίου διέκοψε η δίκη με κατηγορούμενο τον πρώην καλλιτεχνικό διευθυντή του Εθνικού Θεάτρου, Δημ. Λιγνάδη, λόγω κωλύματος στο πρόσωπο μέλους του δικαστηρίου.

Η ακροαματική διαδικασία δεν προχώρησε καθόλου επί της ουσίας, αφού με την έναρξη της ανακοινώθηκε πως οι γραμματείς έχουν προγραμματισμένη στάση εργασίας μέχρι τις 11 το πρωί, καθώς και ότι ένα μέλος της στο θέσης της έδρας δεν μπορεί να παρευρεθεί λόγω ασθένειας. «Λαμβανομένου υπόψη του κωλύματος και καθώς η αναπλήρωση της δικαστή αφορά μόνο για το θέμα της διακοπής, θα πρέπει να διακόψουμε» πρότεινε ο εισαγγελέας του Μικτού Ορκωτού Δικαστηρίου.

Ζήτημα τέθηκε από την πολιτική αγωγή και αναφορικά με την αίθουσα καθώς η χωρητικότητά της είναι περιορισμένη. «Αυτοί που θα πρέπει να παρίστανται, θα παρίστανται. Θα είναι παρόντες αυτοί που χρειάζονται.Όλοι ενδιαφερόμαστε να διεξαχθεί η δίκη σωστά και θα πηγαίνουμε σε όποια αίθουσα είναι διαθέσιμη» το πόση η πρόεδρος του δικαστηρίου.

Παρών στο δικαστήριο ήταν ο κατηγορούμενος Δημ. Λιγνάδης, όπως και οι καταγγέλλοντες. Ο συνήγορος υπεράσπισης, Αλ. Κούγιας, ο οποίος σε δηλώσεις του υποστήριξε ότι στόχος της υπεράσπισης είναι η διεξαγωγή της δίκης, καθώς και ότι προτίθεται να καταβάλει ακόμη τα έξοδα των μαρτύρων που δεν έχουν την οικονομική δυνατότητα να ταξιδεύουν έως το δικαστήριο.

Έξω από τα δικαστήρια βρέθηκε και η Ανοιχτή Ορχήστρα η οποία με τραγούδια και συνθήματα, προχώρησε σε διαμαρτυρία αναφορικά τόσο κατά του Δημ. Λιγνάδη, όσο και υπέρ του Ζακ Κωστόπουλου, η δίκη του οποίου διεξάγεται σε άλλη αίθουσα και βρίσκεται στο στάδιο των αναγνωστέων εγγράφων.
