Μήνυση κατά παντός υπευθύνου κατέθεσε η μητέρα 9χρονου αγοριού στο Αστυνομικό Τμήμα Χαλκηδόνος, στη Θεσσαλονίκη, μετά το ατύχημα που, όπως ανέφερε, είχε το παιδί της σε παιδική χαρά της περιοχής.

Σύμφωνα με τη μητέρα, στις 10 Μαΐου, γύρω στις 9 το βράδυ, την ώρα που το αγοράκι έπαιζε σε παιδική χαρά απέναντι από το δημαρχείο Χαλκηδόνος, έπεσε σε δέντρο γιατί δεν υπήρχε επαρκής φωτισμός.

Ο 9χρονος μεταφέρθηκε για την παροχή πρώτων βοηθειών στο Κέντρο Υγείας Κουφαλίων και στη συνέχεια στο Ιπποκράτειο Νοσοκομείο.
