Σε μία περίοδο έντονης κρίσης, όπου οι επιδόσεις των Ελλήνων μαθητών όπως προκύπτουν από το τεστ διεθνούς αξιολόγησης PISA είναι χαμηλές, η Ένωση Ελλήνων Φυσικών (ΕΕΦ) συνεχίζει το έργο της για την προώθηση και τον εκσυγχρονισμό της Φυσικής Επιστήμης εντός και εκτός των σχολικών αιθουσών.
Στην κατεύθυνση αυτή βρίσκονται σε εξέλιξη οι διαδικασίες του 5ου Πανελλήνιου Μαθητικού Διαγωνισμού 2017 για μαθητές Γυμνασίου και του 27ου Πανελλήνιου Μαθητικού Διαγωνισμού Φυσικής 2017 για μαθητές Γενικού Λυκείου με θέμα: «27ος Πανελλήνιος Μαθητικός Διαγωνισμός Φυσικής Γενικού Λυκείου

Ο διαγωνισμός αφορά σε όλους τους μαθητές των Γυμνασίων και Λυκείων της χώρας, δημόσια και ιδιωτικά και τελεί υπό την αιγίδα του Υπουργείου Παιδείας.

Στο μεταξύ την Πέμπτη 2 Μαρτίου 2017 ξεκινά η πρώτη φάση του Πανελλήνιου Διαγωνισμού Φυσικής για μαθητές Ε και ΣΤ Δημοτικού, η οποία ολοκληρώνεται το Σάββατο 29 Απριλίου με το τελικό στάδιο των εξετάσεων που θα δώσουν οι μαθητές.

*PISA διεθνές πρόγραμμα για την αξιολόγηση των μαθητών που διοργανώνεται από τη Διεύθυνση Εκπαίδευσης του ΟΟΣΑ με κύριο στόχο να αξιολόγηθεί το εύρος γνώσεων και οι δεξιότητες των μαθητών που βρίσκονται στο τέλος της υποχρεωτικής τους εκπαίδευσης.
