Ρεσιτάλ πιάνου από τον Γρηγόρη Ιωάννου στο ΜΜΘ

Ένα απαιτητικό πρόγραμμα πιανιστικής δεξιοτεχνίας παρουσιάζει στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης τη Δευτέρα 16 Απριλίου 2018 ο νεαρός μουσικός Γρηγόρης Ιωάννου.

Συγκεκριμένα, θα ερμηνεύσει τις 12 Σπουδές υπερβατικής δεξιοτεχνίας (12 Études d?exécution transcendante) του Ούγγρου ρομαντικού συνθέτη και πιανίστα Franz Liszt (1811-1886), έργα τα οποία φημίζονται ιδιαίτερα για τις υψηλές τεχνικές και μουσικές απαιτήσεις τους.

Το ρεσιτάλ εντάσσεται σε έναν πολύ σημαντικό κύκλο εκδηλώσεων του Μεγάρου Μουσικής, που περιλαμβάνει συναυλίες από νικητές μουσικών διαγωνισμών. Πρόκειται για μια έμπρακτη υποστήριξη και ενθάρρυνση του Μεγάρου προς τους νέους ταλαντούχους μουσικούς που ξεχώρισαν και ξεκινούν τώρα τη σταδιοδρομία τους, καθώς τους δίνει ένα βήμα για να επιδείξουν την τέχνη τους και να συναντηθούν με ένα κοινό που πιθανόν θα τους παρακολουθεί για χρόνια.

Ο Γρηγόρης Ιωάννου (γεννήθηκε το 1995) είναι ο νικητής του 3ου Πανελλήνιου Διαγωνισμού του Φεστιβάλ Πιάνου Θεσσαλονίκης, που πραγματοποιείται ανά διετία και τελεί υπό την αιγίδα του Κρατικού Ωδείου Θεσσαλονίκης.
Έχει κάνει σημαντικές μουσικές σπουδές στην Αθήνα, το Λονδίνο και το Παρίσι και εμφανίστηκε σε συναυλίες στην Eλλάδα, την Αγγλία, τη Γαλλία, το Βέλγιο, την Ιταλία, την Ουγγαρία και τη Ρωσία.
Έχει συμμετάσχει ως σολίστ με την Κρατική Ορχήστρα Αθηνών, τη Sinfonietta Αθηνών και τη Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα του ΚΩΘ. Έχει βραβευτεί σε πανελλήνιους και διεθνείς διαγωνισμούς πιάνου ενώ έχει ηχογραφήσει έργα για σόλο πιάνο στο πλαίσιο εκπομπών του Τρίτου Προγράμματος.
