Το διακαλλιτεχνικό και διεπιστημονικό φεστιβάλ OPEN NIGHTS επιστρέφει στη Λάρισα για την 7η συνεχή διοργάνωση, με χορό, εικαστικά, προβολές, μουσική, διαδραστικά projects, εργαστήρια και διαλέξεις. Το θέμα του είναι φέτος, το ΣΩΜΑ.
Θα έχει ως βάση του τον Μύλο του Παππά και θα απλωθεί για ακόμη μια χρονιά  σε διάφορους χώρους της πόλης.

Μετά από 6 χρόνια δράσης συνεχίζει να θέτει ερωτήματα, επιστρέφοντας εκεί που ξεκινούν όλα: στο σώμα και στην κίνηση, ως ανάγκη αντίστασης στην απειλητική υπάρχουσα αδράνεια, αλλά και ως κάλεσμα σε μια δυναμική εντροπία.

Στηρίζει ιδέες που προτείνουν τη διάδραση των τεχνών μεταξύ τους, ή/και με το κοινό. Οι διαλέξεις και οι συζητήσεις που προκαλούν αυτές οι διαδράσεις και το ίδιο το θέμα, εντείνουν τον διαλογικό χαρακτήρα του φεστιβάλ και υποστηρίζουν τον κεντρικό του στόχο, αυτόν της ανάμιξης των τεχνών και των επιστημών με την «πραγματική» ζωή.

Το OPEN NIGHTS διοργανώνεται από την ομάδα OFF ART,  την Αντιδημαρχία Πολιτισμού και Επιστημών του Δήμου Λαρισαίων και την Περιφέρεια Θεσσαλίας.

Έχει επίσης την υποστήριξη του Θεσσαλικού Θεάτρου, της Εφορείας Αρχαιοτήτων Λάρισας και της Δημοτικής Πινακοθήκης Λάρισας- Μουσείο Γ.Ι.Κατσίγρα, ενώ συνεργάζεται με πολλούς καλλιτεχνικούς και κοινωνικούς φορείς από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, αλλά και επιχειρήσεις της Λάρισας.
