Ανανεωμένο το Δημοτικό Κολυμβητήριο Κατερίνης

Ανανεωμένο, πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και στη διάθεση όλων των δημοτών θα είναι από την προσεχή Δευτέρα 20 Φεβρουαρίου το Κολυμβητήριο, στο Β’ Δημοτικό Αθλητικό Κέντρο Κατερίνης.

«Το Κολυμβητήριο αλλάζει σελίδα και πλέον μπορεί να λειτουργεί συστηματικά όλο το χρόνο» επισήμανε στη διάρκεια συνέντευξης στους εκπροσώπους των τοπικών μέσων ενημέρωσης, ο Δήμαρχος Κατερίνης Σάββας Χιονίδης τονίζοντας χαρακτηριστικά: «Στη διάθεση των δημοτών, όλων των ηλικιών είναι και οι δύο πισίνες. Η μία που είναι για εκμάθηση παίδων και νηπίων, καθώς και η μεγάλη πισίνα, που προορίζεται αφενός για αθλητισμό ευεξίας και αφετέρου, για αθλητές κολύμβησης, πόλο, καταδύσεων, τριάθλου κ.λ.π. Αυτονόητη υποχρέωσή μας και φροντίδα ήταν και είναι να μπορούν να έχουν πρόσβαση σε αυτούς τους χώρους τα ΑμΕΑ. Άλλωστε η ισότιμη συμμετοχή ισχύει σε όλες τις εκφάνσεις της ζωής της πόλης μας».

Πρακτικά ζητήματα για την καθημερινή λειτουργία του κολυμβητηρίου παρουσίασε ο πρόεδρος του Οργανισμού Θεόδωρος Παυλίδης. Ειδικότερα όπως είπε: «Το ανακαινισμένο κολυμβητήριο ανοίγει τις πύλες του, τη Δευτέρα 20 Φεβρουαρίου. Οι ώρες λειτουργίας του διαμορφώνονται καθημερινά (Δευτέρα έως Παρασκευή) από τις 10:30 το πρωί έως τις 22:30, ενώ το Σάββατο έως το μεσημέρι. Για τους ενήλικες απαιτείται δερματολογική εξέταση από γιατρό αντίστοιχης ειδικότητας, καθώς και βεβαίωση από παθολόγο και καρδιολόγο. Η ημερήσια είσοδος για το κοινό είναι 2 , η μηνιαία 20 ευρώ, ενώ η μηνιαία είσοδος για 4μελη οικογένεια διαμορφώνεται σε 70 ευρώ».

Όπως τονίστηκε, την ώρα (16:30 έως 20:30), που θα προπονούνται οι Κολυμβητικοί Σύλλογοι θα υπάρχει ένας διάδρομος στη μεγάλη πισίνα, που θα είναι πάντα διαθέσιμος για το κοινό. Είναι χαρακτηριστικό ότι η μεγάλη πισίνα θα μπορεί ταυτόχρονα να φιλοξενεί 50 κολυμβητές.
