Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες του RIA Novosti, το οποίο επικαλείται δηλώσεις Ουκρανών πολιτών, Ρώσοι διπλωμάτες και προξενικοί υπάλληλοι στην Ουκρανία άρχισαν να επιστρέφουν στη Ρωσία.

Όπως επισημαίνει η ίδια πηγή, «με αφορμή την εκκένωση που ανακοινώθηκε επίσημα από μια σειρά δυτικών χωρών, η Μόσχα αποφάσισε να ακολουθήσει τον ίδιο δρόμο».

Υπενθυμίζουμε πως πριν από δύο εικοσιτετράωρα ο Σεργκέι Λαβρόφ, στο περιθώριο της συναντησης που είχε με τη Βρετανή ομόλογο του, Λιζ Τρας, είχε προϊδεάσει για την πρόθσεση της Μόσχας να εκκενώσει τις διολωματικές της αποστολές στο Κίεβο.

Στο μεταξύ για σήμερα το πρωί του Σαββάτου (απόγευμα ώρα Μόσχας) έχει προγραμματιστεί να γίνει τηλεφωνική συνομιλία μεταξύ των προέδρων των ΗΠΑ και της Ρωσίας Τζο Μπάιντεν και Βλαντιμίρ Πούτιν.

Σύμφωνα με την αμερικανική πλευρά, «η Ρωσία πρότεινε η τηλεφωνική συνομιλία να γίνει τη Δευτέρα». «Ο Λευκός Οίκος αντιπρότεινε η συνομιλία να γίνει το Σάββατο, με την Μόσχα να συμφωνεί.

Νωρίτερα, ο γραμματέας Τύπου του Ρώσου προέδρου Ντμίτρι Πεσκόφ, είχε αποκαλύψει πως Πούτιν και Μπάιντεν, με πρωτοβουλία της αμερικανικής πλευράς, θα έχουν αργά το απόγευμα τηλεφωνική συνομιλία.
