Καβάλα: Αφαίρεση γαλάζιας σημαίας σε δύο παραλίες

Τα μέλη της εθνικής επιτροπής κρίσεων και η συντονιστική επιτροπή του προγράμματος «Γαλάζια Σημαία», έπειτα από τις απροειδοποίητες επισκέψεις που έκαναν σε βραβευμένες ακτές, διαπίστωσαν σοβαρές ελλείψεις στην επιβεβλημένη τήρηση των κριτηρίων που αφορούσαν συγκεκριμένα σε: παροχή υπηρεσιών προς τους λουόμενους και επισκέπτες, καθαριότητα, ορθή πληροφόρηση, ασφάλεια λουομένων και επισκεπτών και δράσεις προστασίας περιβάλλοντος ακτής και παράκτιου χώρου.

Έτσι, αποφάσισαν την αφαίρεση από τον εθνικό και διεθνή κατάλογο του 2019 των ακτών που δεν πληρούσαν τα αυστηρά κριτήρια του προγράμματος, μεταξύ των οποίων είναι το Περιγιάλι Δήμου Καβάλας και η ακτή Αμμόγλωσσα Κεραμωτής 1 του Δήμου Νέστου. Στις ακτές που έχασαν τη «Γαλάζια Σημαία», η ποιότητα των νερών κολύμβησης παραμένει εξαιρετική.

Σύμφωνα με τον Αντιδήμαρχο Καθαριότητας κ. Ανέστη Τσουρουκίδη δεν τίθεται θέμα καθαρότητας των υδάτων αλλά η σημαία αφαιρέθηκε για καθαρά γραφειοκρατικούς λόγους.
