Κομοτηνή: Το απολυτίκιο για την εικόνα «Άξιον Εστί» εψάλη στους Ναούς της Ροδόπης

Το απολυτίκιο που γράφτηκε για την επικείμενη έλευση στην Κομοτηνή της εικόνας «Άξιον Εστί» τον Μάιο, ακούστηκε σήμερα στους Ναούς της Ιεράς Μητρόπολης κατόπιν εντολής του Μητροπολίτη.

Κομοτηνή: Το απολυτίκιο για την εικόνα «Άξιον Εστί» εψάλη στους Ναούς της ΡοδόπηςΠρόκειται για απολυτίκιο δια χειρός του Μητροπολίτη Εδέσσης, Πέλλης και Αλμωπίας κ. Ιωήλ. Θα ακούγεται σε όλους τους ναούς για τους επόμενους πέντε μήνες, μέχρι την έλευση της εικόνας τον Μάιο, ώστε ο λαός της Ροδόπης να την υποδεχθεί με αυτό τον ύμνο.
Το Απολυτίκιο έχει ως εξής:
“Της ερήμου πολίτης, ήχος α΄
Την σεπτή σου εικόνα Αθωνίτισσα Δέσποινα,
εν Κομοτηνή καταφθάσαν,
προσκυνούμεν γηθόμενοι
η πόλις γαρ ομού και ο λαός,
προ χρόνων εκατόν ταις σαις ευχαίς,
της δουλείας απετίναξε τον ζυγόν,
διό και αναμέλπομεν
Άξιον Εστίν η κλήσις σου Αγνή,
αξία εστί και η χάρις σου,
η πάντοτε σκεπάζουσα ημάς,
και προστατεύουσα”.
Η υποδοχή της εικόνας της Παναγίας του Άξιον Εστί, με τη συνοδεία των πατέρων του Αγίου Όρους και την παρουσία πολλών Μητροπολιτών θα γίνει στους εορτασμούς των Ελευθερίων με αφορμή τη συμπλήρωση των 100 χρόνων από την ενσωμάτωση της Θράκης στον Εθνικό Κορμό το Μάιο.
Η εικόνα της Παναγίας, το «Άξιον εστί», βρίσκεται στο ναό του Πρωτάτου στις Καρυές του Αγίου Όρους, θεωρούμενη ως «κοινή εφέστιος προστάτις» εικόνα όλων των Αγιορείτικων Μονών, φέρουσα στο πλαίσιό της τις σφραγίδες και των 20 Μονών. Η πρώτη έξοδος της εικόνος «Άξιον Εστί» από το Άγιον Όρος έγινε το 1963 κατά τον εορτασμό της Χιλιετηρίδος του Αγίου Όρους, όταν μεταφέρθηκε στην Αθήνα. Το 1985 μεταφέρθηκε με πλοίο του Πολεμικού Ναυτικού για προσκύνηση στη Θεσσαλονίκη.
