Παρελήφθησαν (45) νέα οχήματα υπηρεσιακού και ελεύθερου χρωματισμού, τα οποία εντάσσονται στον στόλο της Ελληνικής Αστυνομίας. Πρόκειται για (34) επιβατικά, (6) αγροτικού τύπου και (5) ειδικά οχήματα μεταγωγής κρατουμένων, τα οποία αποκτήθηκαν μέσω διαγωνιστικών διαδικασιών, συγχρηματοδότησης του Ευρωπαϊκού Ταμείου Περιφερειακής Ανάπτυξης και του Ταμείου Ασύλου Μετανάστευσης και Ένταξης, από μεταφορά πιστώσεων του Υπουργείου Εθνικής Άμυνας.

Πιο αναλυτικά, στην Ανατολική Μακεδονία και Θράκη θα δοθούν έξι (6). Εντός του 2020 η Ελληνική Αστυνομία υλοποίησε ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα εξοπλιστικά προγράμματα, ολοκληρώνοντας έναν κύκλο παραλαβής (1.453) νέων οχημάτων.
